Want to get your first kipping pull-up?

When Monique first started working with us in personal training, she had one clear goal: get better at pull-ups.

Like many people who’ve been grinding away at their fitness journey, she had been stuck just shy of unlocking that elusive skill of kipping pull-ups. She had the drive, the discipline, and a solid base of strength but stringing them together still felt frustratingly out of reach.

That’s where her 1-on-1 sessions came in.

We met twice a week for 30 minutes with a simple but focused mission: improve technique, strengthen the right muscles, and build confidence. Her program included targeted drills to improve shoulder positioning and core control, lots of practice on movement rhythm, and customized progressions to help her feel every piece of the kip, not just swing and hope.

Fast forward a few weeks and Monique didn’t just get one kipping pull-up.

She started stringing them together. Clean. Controlled. Confident.

Watching her hit that milestone wasn’t just a “win” in the gym, it was a breakthrough moment that proved how much progress you can make when you pair smart coaching with consistent effort.
